Warrior Or Worrier?
When things don't go as you planned,
Do you become a WARRIOR or a worrier?
This is a great measure of how much we really trust in God.
When a deal fall apart,
Costing tens of thousands of dollars,
And you were counting the income to pay other bills,
Do you become a WARRIOR or a worrier?
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
When something breaks that needs fixing,
And it's another dent in the budget,
The timing is not good,
Do you become a WARRIOR or a worrier?
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
When you're body gets sick
The doctors can't figure things out,
And medical bills are rising,
Do you become a WARRIOR or a worrier?
"do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’... your heavenly Father knows that you need them all."
"even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows."
When you're doing the best you can,
And you thought you're doing all the right things,
But find out things are still going very wrong,
Do you become a WARRIOR or a worrier?
"And my God will supply EVERY need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
It's easy to say we believe in Jesus,
But how would we act if we REEEAAAALLLYY believed in Jesus?
What if we REEEAAAALLLYY believe in His provisions and protection?
"Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!"
If we REEEAAAALLLYY believed in Jesus,
When hardship appears, perhaps we would be able to say,
"Lord, what are you up to?"
"Lord, how do You want me to handle this?"
"Oh Lord, this is quite an interesting surprise today."
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"
Wouldn't it just be a cool to live without worry?
Wouldn't that just take the load off of life?
What if we REEEAAAALLLYY believed in Jesus and His promises?
What IF...?
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me REAAALLY believe in what you have for me today,
Help me REAAALLY believe that You will always provide,
Help me be a WARRIOR for You and not a worrier.
May my worries fade away,
May Your joy overflow,
May I armor up in Your promises,
May I be a WARRIOR for You today.
In Jesus name, Amen."
