Think Everything in Love...
Did you know that you can have the most brilliant idea,
The most stunning plan for doing God's work,
But if you don't bear God's fruit of LOVE doing it,
It breaks God's heart?
Did you know that you can have wisdom like Solomon,
Discoveries and inventions that can change the world,
But if you don't bear God's fruit of LOVE doing it,
It can make God want to cry in a corner?
"I may have the gift of prophecy,
I may fathom all mysteries,
know all things, have all faith enough to move mountains;
But if I lack LOVE,
I am nothing."
Many people have plowed forward,
With "brilliant" ideas,
With bold moves,
In their strength and might,
But did NOT bear God's fruit of LOVE.
In the wake of their rash zeal,
Lie pieces of broken hearts,
Fractured relationships,
And a sour taste of God,
Because of lack of LOVE.
LOVE is PATIENT,
LOVE is KIND,
STOP.
If you don't get these first two right,
Nothing else matters.
If you're not PATIENT and KIND in your HEART,
Your billion dollars don't matter,
If you're not PATIENT and KIND in your THOUGHTS,
Your international charitable organization doesn't matter.
God doesn't have a MONEY problem,
God doesn't need your MONEY,
God wants your HEART.
God doesn't need your ingenuity,
God doesn't need your "wisdom",
God doesn't need your talents,
God wants you to LOVE.
So if you don't lead with PATIENCE,
If you don't lead with KINDNESS,
It's NOT LOVE,
If it's NOT LOVE,
God doesn't want it,
God doesn't delight in it,
God grieves over it.

"Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me DELIGHT You with my THOUGHTS,
Wash my thoughts in Your LOVE,
Cleanse my thoughts in Your TRUTH,
Mold my thoughts in Your WAYS.
So they ALIGN with You,
So they REFLECT You,
So they REPRESENT You,
So they DELIGHT You.
