Thanking God...
On this Thanksgiving Day,
I'd like to see how solely focused I can be on Jesus,
For ONE whole day,
As an expression of love,
ATTEMPTING to give my heart to Him,
Lord HELP ME!
You know how my eyes turn away in a blink of an eye! @_@

How can I embrace the glory of Your gift?
Where do I even start?
Thank You for life,
Thank You for peace,
When I am with You.
Thank You for Your embrace,
Thank You for Your warmth,
Thank You for Your love,
A love that sacrifices ALL.
Thank You for Your whispers,
Thank You for Your nudges,
Thank You for Your tickles,
Thank You for Your voice,
Guiding me in every step.
Thank You for catching me when I stumble,
Thank You for picking me up when I'm down,
Thank You for comforting me when I'm sad,
Thank You for lifting me up in Your righteous right hand.
Thank You for my pains,
Thank You for my sorrows,
Thank You for my trials,
Thank You for Your strength,
To endure it all with joy and peace.
Thank You for the pruning,
Thank You for the molding,
Thank You for the shaping,
Thank You for the crushing,
Thank You for everything,
Even when I don't say "thank You" at all.
Thank You for the rest,
Thank You for the slumber,
Thank You for the calm,
In the middle of the storm.
Thank You for Your guidance,
Thank You for Your correction,
Thank You for Your navigation,
Thank You for being my guardrails,
That never lets me fall.
A million other things,
I'll never know on earth,
But when I get to heaven,
I'll thank You for the rest of my life,
May this be one of many days in eternity,
That I thank You with my whole heart, mind and soul.
