I Wonder How Jesus Feels...
How would a father feel when his daughter asks,
"Daddy, will you feed me tomorrow?"
How would a father feel when his daughter asks the next day,
"Daddy, will you feed me tomorrow?"
How would a father feel when his daughter asks EVERY day,
"Daddy, will you feed me tomorrow?"

If a little girl is worrying about getting fed,
Wondering if her father will provide,
Always doubting his provisions for the next next day,
How would the father feel?
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Furthermore, if the father is a billionaire,
With servants, butlers, nannies, coaches and tutors for every need,
Living in a mansion with 100 rooms,
With a driveway paved with gold,
And yet his daughter still asks everyday,
"Daddy, will you feed me tomorrow?",
How would the father feel?
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they"
I wonder how Jesus feels?
After He gave us His life that's worth more than a thousand universes,
Giving His blood was more precious than all of creation,
Giving everything and leaving nothing on the table,
And yet we still ask "Daddy, will you feed me tomorrow?"
I wonder how Jesus feels?
When we worry about finances or health,
When we don't trust Him to provide,
Even after He's conquered death,
We still ask "Daddy, will you feed me tomorrow?"
When we worry about tomorrow,
It makes Jesus sad,
Because it shows we don't trust Him,
After everything He's done.
But if we want to reverse the worry,
If we want to make Jesus happy
We can declare with our whole heart and say,
"Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him."
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me REMEMBER Your sacrifice,
Help me REMEMBER that You gave Your all,
So that I can TRUST You in all things.
Help me UNDERSTAND the depths of Your love,
Help me UNDERSTAND Your generous provisions,
So that I can BELIEVE in Your promises daily.
Help me KNOW You are powerful and awe inspiring
Help me KNOW You are victor and champion,
So that I can stand boldly in FAITH.
Help me BE in awe of You,
Help me BE in LOVE with You,
Help me BE humbled by You,
So that I can REST in Your arms and TRUST You completely.
Thank You, my perfect Father,
Thank You, my perfect provider,
Thank You, my perfect Lord and Savior.
In Jesus name, Amen."
Cheers to making Jesus happy with our TRUST.
