Gift & Sacrifice of My Words...
Some people are hard to shop for,
Especially the people that have money,
They seem to have everything they want,
So what can you get them that's actually meaningful?
That's the same way with God.
What could we possibly give God that's not already His?

O Lord, what gift could I give that is pleasing to You?
What gift could I give that You don’t already have?
You own the cattle on a thousand hills,
What could I possibly give You that is of value?
I give You my WORDS this day,
The very breath in my lungs,
May it produce WORDS only for You,
As Your WORDS of LOVE brought me to life,
And I give you my WORDS to You as an expression of my LOVE,
This humble gift I give to You.
May I speak with You and ONLY You today,
May my heart preserve my WORDS for You and ONLY You today,
May my breath only produce WORDS for You and ONLY You today.
This is my sacrifice,
This is my gift,
Lord, accept it with pleasure and delight,
This is what I have to give today.
What is a sacrifice without a price?
What is a gift without the heart?
May my WORDS to You be my sacrifice,
May my WORDS to You be my desire,
To keep my eyes on You and ONLY You,
To give my WORDS to You and ONLY You,
May this day be holy and pleasing to You.
Grant me the desire to sacrifice my WORDS,
Grant me the strength to control my tongue,
Grant me the faith to commit my WORDS to You,
Accept this as a holy offering,
My every breath,
My every WORD,
May it be for You and ONLY You this day.
Lord, help.
