Call me Lord,
Just call me.
Call me when You're happy,
Call me when You're sad,
Call me when You want to hear,
What kind of day I've had.
"I have called you friends"
Call me when Your heart breaks,
Call me when Your heart aches,
Call me when Your tears are pouring,
Streaming down Your face.
Call me to curl up by Your feet,
Call me to lean on Your side,
Call me to lay down beside You,
With you I will reside.
"Abide in Me, and I in you."
Call me to be Your servant,
Call me to be Your friend,
Call me to be Your child,
From now until the end.
Call me to stay behind,
When others moved ahead,
Call me where others can't go,
Send me in their stead.
"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you "
Call me to find the lost,
Call me to mend the broken,
Call me to love like You,
And share the words You've spoken.
Call me to the dark,
Call me to be Your light,
Call me into the storm,
Call me to fight Your fight.
"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called"
Call me to tear down walls,
Call me to pierce the darkness,
Call me to calm the storms,
In the hearts of the hopeless.
Call me in Your appointed time,
Call me until the end,
Call me when You'll shine the brightest,
When the lost will need a friend.
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise."
Call me to lead souls to You,
Call me to make You smile,
Call me to put a pep in Your step,
Claiming victory all the while.
Call me to share Your truth,
Call me to be Your light,
Call me to be Your joy,
To live for Your delight.
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."
Call me, Lord,
Just call me.
