Be the One and Only...
There are so many times I set my eyes on things I want,
I boot God off of the throne,
Place me and my desires on it,
And romp around like I'm the boss.
There's a word for that,
It's call IDOLATRY.
I make my desires, ambitions, goals, hopes, dreams,
The IDOL of my life,
And God has a seat in the trunk.
Not cool,
So let's INVITE the Lord to Be the One and ONLY in our lives.
"Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually!"
"I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me diligently FIND Me."
"Set your minds on things that are above, NOT on things that are on earth."

Be the One and ONLY one the throne of my HEART,
Be the One and ONLY thought to enter my MIND,
Be the One and ONLY light that I can SEE,
Be the One and ONLY beat that I can HEAR,
Be the One and ONLY air that I BREATHE,
Be the One and ONLY desire of my HEART.
Lord, let NO distractions turn my EYES,
Let NO propositions sway my HEART,
Let NO promotions claim the THRONE,
Let NO riches replace my THIRST,
Let NO prosperity quench my DESPERATION,
May You be the One and ONLY desire of my HEART.
