Are You Available This Wed...?
So... about that conversation. I'm having one this Wed on Zoom to talk about the things written about... God, Business 'n Life.
The call is every 2nd and 4th Wednesday.
Here's HIGHLIGHTS from the last call:
PROBLEM: Not enough time... time management.
INSIGHT: There is a spiritual battle for your time and head-space. Satan wants to keep you so busy you don't have time to think straight, much less think about God. If that happens you're no threat to him. You're another Christian living a busy human life. It's war. Time to battle up.
PROBLEM: Overlapping appointments.
INSIGHT: This seemed like a simple calendar technology issue at first but gone unchecked for weeks, it was a source for distraction and chaos. God is a God of order and excellence NOT chaos. If the fruits of a situation don't line up with His Spirit, then take a hard look before passing it by. The enemy would love nothing more than to keep you in crazy-town so you lose your connection with God and His peace. Don't let that happen. Make your ongoing connection with God a top priority. If you don't know what to do, just ASK Holy Spirit even in the small things. He'll let you know. He's SOOO GOOD like that.
PROBLEM: Being present. The mind wants to think about being productive.
INSIGHT: The battle for your head space is real. If you can't be present, you can't hear God. If you can't hear God, then you're a sitting duck. You're no threat to Satan. You're just where he wants you. If NOT being present and thinking of other "productive" things is a pattern, then it's a habit and possibly an addiction. Addition to productivity. One of the fruits of the Spirit is SELF-CONTROL and NOT being able to control your thoughts at the expense of quality time with family is NOT God. If the worries of the world and your ambitions have control over your mind, it's time to take that territory BACK. Time to battle up!
