The numbers game...
Lance never misses out on his team's numbers. He knows where his business stands at every moment. He believes that if you don't diligently look at your numbers, your business could potentially face huge losses as you can't immediately make the necessary action plans and adjustments. Always know your numbers!

The Loken Group Genesis
Lance has experience in a various businesses mostly in retail. He was in the oil and gas industry back in 2011 but when the business was no longer doing well, he had to sail in a new direction and re-focus his strengths on his least favoured role back then - becoming a real estate agent. With over 33, 000 agents to compete with in Houston, he thought he would never be able to live his dream of becoming CEO. But what made him take a leap of faith? Seeing things from a brighter perspective, Lance started looking at Real Estate as another business commodity and thought if he did everything the right way, he'd be able to fulfil his dream. He simply charged on and made things happen while thinking of ways to create an impact in an industry with competition of over 33, 000.

Always looking at the positive side of everything, he turned 2011's economic challenges, e.g. foreclosures, into an opportunity. He started with humble steps like making sure he never missed a buyer's appointment no matter the time of day or how long the drive was and this determination is what got him to where he’s at today. As he puts it, "If you're going to do something, do it and go all the way with it." This doesn't promise results right away. Lance's give-away is: if you don't see results today, it doesn't mean that they'll never come. They will come in the future so long as you're patient and committed to your goals.

You reap what you sow...
It took Lance some time and, of course, $$$ before finally seeing his investments finally come to glorious fruition. His advice is to take action first before expecting massive results. His other practice is to always look a couple of years into the future to have time to nurture what you planted.

His key to success...
He may be CEO but he has a servant's heart. And his source of fulfilment is seeing fulfilment in the talents he has on-board. So what exactly does he look for in his recruits? Pretty much everything that he is - driven, aggressive, ambitious, and most importantly, team-oriented individuals.
